How can YOU get involved in Injury Prevention?
Emergency Nurses make excellent injury prevention teachers because we see first hand the effects of dangerous choices. We have real life stories to fuel our passion for prevention.
- If you can prevent 1 child from injury by getting them in an appropriate car seat, or
- If you can prevent 1 teen from a needless prom night alcohol related crash, or
- If you can prevent 1 elderly person from falling and fracturing a hip, then
you have succeeded.
These are just a few examples of how you can make a difference.
